Our Watch Is Going to the Moon
When my partner in crime Stephan Gubler sent me the news yesterday, I had to smile.
The Breitling Endurance Pro isn’t just for ironmen and ironwomen anymore. Commander Reid Wiseman has been spotted wearing one in the lead-up to the Artemis II launch — the mission that, on April 1, 2026, sent four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the Moon, the first crewed lunar mission since 1972.
Our favorite endurance watch is heading to the Moon, and I find that genuinely thrilling.
Breitling has serious historical ties to space — back in 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter wore a Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute as the first wristwatch ever worn in space. So this isn’t a coincidence. It’s a continuum.
For Stephan and me, the Endurance Pro has clocked deserts, mountains, and many early mornings. Apparently, its next frontier is 400,000 kilometres away.
Not bad for a watch. Not bad at all. 🚀
